General procedure for depositing a bacterial strain

The deposit of a bacterial strain is free of charge and is accompanied by a Deposit form of the microorganism. The deposit form is to be sent to ccp.ff.up@gmail.com

The bacterial strain should only be sent after approval by the CCP, which reserves the right to refuse the deposit.

Deposit for publication of a new species

The CCP carries out the necessary checks in order to deliver a CCP number for the strain and its deposit certificate. The CCP will not disclose the information provided before the article is published.

In the case author would like to obtain the genome sequence of the strain, free of charge as part of a collaboration, kindly inform us when depositing it.
